Born and raised in Visalia, CA, Andy De Santis was introduced to art and music at an early age — obsessing over everything he saw in skateboarding and BMX videos. In 1999, he and his family relocated to Tracy, CA, where he started playing music in various local bands throughout the Central Valley & Bay Area DIY scenes.

In late 2006, Andy fell in love with photography after enrolling in a black-and-white film class at Los Positas College in Livermore, CA. He went on to pursue photography and writing at San Francisco State University, where he earned a BA in photojournalism in 2009.

Around this time, Andy landed an internship with independent record label, Polyvinyl Record Co., focusing on the company's social media & marketing efforts. He has since worked with artists such as American Football, of Montreal, Japandroids, The Rentals, Alvvays, Pedro The Lion, Deerhoof, Jeff Rosenstock, The Dodos, Yumi Zouma, Laura Jane Grace, and many more.

These days, Andy spends his time working in the marketing dept for Polyvinyl, focusing on streaming, creative promotion, content development, A&R, and project management. He currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife, two kiddos, and dog and will most likely talk your ear off about photography, bikes, skateboarding, coffee, and making cool stuff happen.
